Hailey Jordyn Lay-Hak

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado Hailey Lay-Hak had equestrian aspirations before she even took her first lesson and they have since taken her to the upper echelons of show jumping. At age 6 she took her first English riding lesson and from there never looked back. Growing up in the sport she had the opportunity to train with renowned equestrians such as Chris Kappler, Andre Dignelli, Ken and Emily Smith, Matt Sampson, Kara Chad, and Rita Tempinaro. Her biggest supporter though throughout her junior years and still today is Karen Goodell of Forrest Edge Farms. Having ridden with Karen as a junior in Colorado she provided such amazing opportunities for Hailey and was an exceptional role model truly shaping her into a rider who went on to succeed after her move to the East Coast to show full-time at 14. As a junior, she produced top results in the equitation and jumper rings before entering the international show jumping scene with her first FEI start in 2020. Now as a professional Hailey continues to cultivate her own skills with the mindset that we are never done learning. She works with top professionals in the industry who support her in her and her horses' development.
